International Women's Day as a solid in Sitam SITAM College of Engineering, Satyam Degree and PG Colleges jointly organized the International Women's Day celebrations at SITAM College of Engineering.

Guest Lecture on "Startups and IPR Issues in Modern Era of Computing" in SITAM:
In SITAM College , Dr.V.R. Sarma ,Senior Grade Assistant Professor and Head Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory ,Anna University,BIT Campus Tiruchirapalli, an Invited Talk on "Start Ups and IPR Issues". SITAM College Director Sri Majji Sashibhushan Rao thanked the guest Dr VR Sarma Dhulipala garu, and said that such type of guest lectures would inspire the students and increase their enthusiasm and perseverance to achieve anything. Also generate employment to others.SITAM Principal Dr. D.V. Ramamurthy said that the students would be motivated by such programs and he thanked to Dr VR Sarma garu, who gave few inputs to the students. Dean R&D Dr .Y. National Science Day was observed on  28-2-2022 at SITAM. Speaking on this occasion Dr. C. Ghanshyam, CSIR, CSIO, who was the guest of honor at the event, celebrated the National Science Day and shared his experiences with the students.He specifically said that being able to think independently while sharing with students is the source of continuous  effort improvement. He also stated that "Freedom should be given to young minds".

Today Director of Satya Group of Educational institution Dr. Majji Sashibhushana Rao,  interacted with few First Year B Tech, girl students and using Management Games, impressed upon them on “ How to over come distraction and concentrate on the Goal”, How to Do Team Work, How people form an image about other people and “How to improve our self Image”.

An interactive session organised  on 23-2-22 at SITAM. Guest of honour "Annie Violet", Head of Strategy M Institute, was the keynote speaker at a panel discussion on how to develop better employment skills . Emphasizes that besides technology, punctuality, business acumen and conversational acumen are essential for a student to make every student think and work in this direction.

 Mother language  day is organised on 21-2-22 at SITAM Engineering college. On this occasion   Sri Ayala Somayajula Gopalarao was invited as a guest of honour.Speaking on this occasion he expressed his opinion that it is very easy & possible to speak and express our thoughts fluently and confidently with the mother tongue.He also gave an example for "The popularity of Telugu language". Addressing the gathering, he said that everyone  have to adopt behaviour and discipline through mother tongue and learn ethical  values to grow as a good citizen.

The two-storey library, covering an area of about ten thousand square feet, was inaugurated by Mrs. Dr. Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, Secretary and Correspondent, Seetham College. Commenting on the occasion, she said, "Libraries are the pillars of educational institutions. Students who make proper use of libraries can achieve amazing results."

A Workshop on "Imagining the role of Technology in Features and Individual Traits"with knowledge partner EduSkills supported by AWS academy,Microchip Academic Program, Blue Prism, Celonis, Juniper. This was initiated at SITAM College on 25-11-2021.The main purpose of this workshop is to bridge a gap between industry and academia.Also enlighten the students and to train them.Also EduSkills give training and get certified through corporate.

The Wall of Fame Certificate was awarded in recognition of the work of DV Ramamurthy, a faculty member at the Seetham Engineering College, ulektz. To this end, today under the auspices of Sitam Engineering College, Director Shri Majji Shashi Bhushan Rao and other college staff honored the Teaching and Non-Teaching, Principal in the presence of the students. Launch of Department of Management Studies at SITAM Engineering College

Four day workshop has been organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering on "CAD, CAE & Digital Manufacturing" in association with CEMS. This workshop focuses on students to get hands-on experience on the latest industry relevant software and hardware. It also facilitates professional skill development and enhancement in Maritime, Manufacturing automobile, aerospace and heavy engineering sectors through research and education partnership with the industry

Memorandum of Understanding between Satya Institute of Technology and Management (SITAM) and Seera Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Satya Institute of Technology and Management and Serasoft Solutions Pvt.Ltd. SITAM Principal Dr. D.V. Rama Murthy and Mr. Seera Ramesh, CEO, Seera Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. signed the MoU. Serra They conducted a 4-day workshop on Mobile Application Development at SITAM College. This IT company will be of great benefit to the students. Job opportunities are available in the IT sector.

"GANGA UTSAV AT SITAM"
"Ganga Utsav" led by 2(A)girls&BN, NCC, VZM from 1-11-2021 to 3-11-2021 grandly organized at SITAM Engineering college.
During this program NCC cadets of SITAM college chanted slogans while doing "Ganga pledge".They also reminded of how important river water conservation with the display of placards.

A guest lecture was given by Dr. B V R GUPTA garu, Retired Professor Andhra University at SITAM today on "CAREER PLANNING IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING". The lecture is very interesting and the students are guided in their career path. I thank the management for giving opportunity in conducting such programs.

SITAM team felicitating the 2018-22 campus selects Ms. Someswari and Ms. Siri Chandana. Ms. Someswari, the final year CSE student, daughter of an agricultural Labourer, with the Zeal and strong desire to excel got selected to TCS and ZOHO companies.
Ms. Siri Chandana, final year ECE student, and daughter of an Auto- driver, proved that financial limitations will not stop her thrust for success and got placement in “ Hexaware Coompany”. The parents are very happy and said that because of SITAM FACULTY and Management efforts and encouragement their daughter got a very good placement.

A 6 days workshop on " Soft Skills " have been started in SITAM College in association with APITA. This work shop is going to enhance the skills of the students.  In with this workshop students can learn a lot of things like Time Management, Social manners, Goal setting ,  interview preparation, group discussions and so on.

Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations in Satya College on 2.10.2021, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, 152th Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations were celebrated in the college. For the first time in this program, this program was started by lighting the light by garlanding Gandhi garu's portrait. As a chief guest, Sri Vijay Kumar garu, ZPHS school headmaster Jonnavalasa has comme.
Speaking in this program, students were asked to learn Gandhi's feelings and ambitions and make good paths for their lives. Students are always urged to be disciplined and strive to fulfill their higher ambitions by following Gandhi's quotes. College sensationist Dr. Shashi Bhushan Rao garu speaking and said that disciplinary life will be used by practicing Gandhi's principles when they are new. Celebrations of “ International Older people Day”, by Satya students: Today Satya group NSS and NCC students celebrated the United Nations “ International Older People Day “, with inmates of Pramasamajam , old age home in Vizianagaram. The students interacted with the inmates and felt emotional knowing their physical , psychological and emotional health issues. Every student promised to take care of their grand parents and make them happy.

AWARDED "B" CERTIFICATES TO NCC CADETS OF SITAM              NCC "B" Certificates are awarded to 14 NCC Cadets of 2019 admitted  batch of SITAM Engineering college on 29th September, 2021 in the presence of honourable Director Dr. Majji Shashibhushan Rao garu and 2 (A ) Girls Bn NCC, PI staff Vinay Kumar. The Department of Civil Engineering, SITAM, organized a one day long educational field visit to thotapalli reservoir, janjavathi rubber dam and to andra reservoir on Wednesday, 22nd September, 2021 for III and IV year Civil Engineering students.
This visit to medium irrigation project was to make the students know about applications of Diversion Head Works and their component parts.
